For cumulative spend, no minimum amount per transaction is required.

Promo Mechanics
  1. The promo is open to all active Principal and Supplementary BDO JCB Credit Cardholders (BDO JCB Lucky Cat, JCB Gold and JCB Platinum Credit Card).
  2. Promo runs from October 1 to November 30, 2026.
  3. To qualify, cardholder must:
    1. Enroll in the promo until November 30, 2026 using the Promo ID sent by BDO through Viber/SMS or email1. Principal and Supplementary Cards must be enrolled separately using their individual Promo ID.
    2. Use a qualified BDO JCB Credit Card for in-store/face-to-face overseas transactions for a minimum single-receipt or cumulative spend of P50,000 within the promo period to earn:
      • 10% rebate on transactions made in Japan
      • 5% rebate on transactions made in other countries
        For cumulative spend, no minimum amount required per transaction.

        1Cardholders must ensure that their registered mobile number and email address with BDO is updated and accurate. Cardholder may call the BDO Customer Contact Center at (02) 8888-0000 to get his/her assigned Promo ID. BDO will not be responsible for non-receipt of Viber/SMS notification due to incorrect or outdated contact details.
  4. The following transactions are excluded in the promo:
    • Online/MOTO transactions
    • Cash advances made via ATM or over-the-counter
    • Any type of Bills Payment (Auto-charge, Charge-On-Demand, Utility/Recurring Bills, Loan Payments etc.)
    • Purchases from Utilities (Gas, Electric, Water Etc.)
    • Transactions from Casino or from merchants engaged in Gambling
    • Transactions from Trading Services/Remittances
    • Quasi-Cash, Cash in to load e-wallet/prepaid cards, Money send/Funding Payment
    • Telecommunications Services, Cable and Other Pay Television
  5. To meet the total spend requirement, the Principal Cardholder cannot combine his/her purchases with the Supplementary Cardholder, and vice-versa. It is the responsibility of the Cardholder to monitor his/her qualified spend.
Crediting of Rebate
  1. The maximum rebate that can be earned per qualified BDO JCB Credit Card is P5,000.
  2. Transactions of Principal and Supplementary cardholder are computed separately for earning of rebates which will be credited to Principal Cardholder’s account on or before January 11, 2027 with transaction description “JCB OVERSEAS REBATE 2026”.
  3. Qualified cardholders who earned the rebates will be notified by BDO via Viber/SMS on or before January 13, 2027.
  4. BDO JCB Credit Card must be active and updated (without incurring past due/delinquency) within the promo period and at the time of crediting of the rebate, otherwise, the rebate earned shall be forfeited.
  5. Rebates awarded are non-transferable and non-convertible to cash. However, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases of any outstanding balance on the Card.
Terms and Conditions
  1. Cardholders must examine their Statement of Account for any errors related to the Promo (e.g. rebate computation, non-awarding of rebate). For promo-related complaints, BDO will handle complaints within 7 to 10 banking days from receipt of complaint, provided with complete information, proof of purchase and other supporting documents.
  2. For disputes/concerns regarding the transactions, the Cardholder may be asked to provide a proof of purchase (e.g. sales receipt) as a supporting document and send it to callcenter@bdo.com.ph.
  3. Rebates awarded are non-transferable and non-convertible to cash. However, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases of any outstanding balance on the Card.
  4. BDO has sole discretion in qualifying the transactions of a Cardholder based on the mechanics of the Promo. Once a transaction has been qualified by BDO under a promotional offer and/or the corresponding rebate has been credited, such transaction shall no longer be eligible for any other BDO promotional offer and may not be transferred, reallocated, or reconsidered for qualification under another promotion, notwithstanding that the transaction may otherwise satisfy the qualifying criteria of such other promotion.
  5. Double Redemption, Cancellation of qualified purchase and Fraudulent transaction/s
    • The Promo cannot be redeemed in conjunction with other promotional offers of BDO. A Cardholder’s purchase made within the promo period of another BDO Credit Card Promo such as but not limited to BDO Spend Anywhere Promo, Credit Card Activation Programs and other discount/rebate/cashback promos will be excluded in the computation of total qualified spend required to avail of this Promo or vice versa. If found to have double/multiple redemptions, BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the rebate awarded to the Principal or Supplementary Cardholder.
    • Similarly, if qualifying transaction/s were disputed or cancelled at a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid/fraudulent, or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transactions, BDO will reverse the rebate awarded. BDO has the sole discretion in qualifying the transactions of a Cardholder based on the mechanics of the Promo. Once qualified by BDO, the transaction can no longer be used for another BDO Promo even if the said transaction meets the criteria of the other promo.
  6. The use of BDO Credit Cards overseas and/or in foreign currencies may result to imposition of Cross Border Fees and/or Foreign Exchange Conversion Fees in the credit card transaction. For more details, Cardholders may refer to Section 8 of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of BDO Credit Card found in BDO’s website.
  7. BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the rebate posted if there is erroneous posting of the rebate.
  8. All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the promo or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO with concurrence of DTI.
  9. The promo is subject to the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of BDO Credit Cards.
