- The 2026 BDO UnionPay Mid-Autumn Festival Rebate Promotion (“Promo”) is open to all new and existing active Principal and Supplementary BDO Gold and Diamond UnionPay Credit Cards (“Qualified Cardholder”).
- Promo runs from September 24 to 30, 2026.
- To participate in the Promo and earn a 10% or a P5,000 rebate:
- The Cardholder must enroll to the Promo using the Promo ID sent by BDO through Viber message, SMS or email, until September 30, 2026. Principal and Supplementary Cardholders must enroll separately for their respective cards, and ensure that accurate information is provided.
- The Cardholder must use his/her BDO UnionPay Credit Card for a minimum single-receipt or cumulative spend of P50,000 with at least P2,000 per transaction, within the promo period, on the following transactions:
- Local in-store purchases
- Dip, Tap, or Scan to Pay via BDO Pay using Qualified Card
- BUY NOW, PAY LATER purchases (principal amount only)
- Overseas in-store purchases
- Online spend (local/overseas)
- Local in-store purchases
- Promo Exclusions: The following transactions are NOT qualified for this promo:
- Local/International Cash Advances made via ATM or over-the-counter;
- Any type of Bills Payment (Auto-charge, Charge-On-Demand, Utility/Recurring Bills, Loan Payments, etc.);
- Purchases from Utilities (Gas, Electric, Water Etc.);
- Transactions from casinos or from merchants engaged in Gambling;
- Transactions from trading services/remittances;
- Cash Installment and Balance Installment Programs such as Cash-It-Easy, Balance Transfer, Purchase Convert and Balance Convert.
- Quasi-Cash, Cash in to load e-wallet/prepaid cards, Money send/Funding payment (Maya, Gcash, etc.)
- Telecommunications Services, Cable and Other Pay Television (Smart, Globe, PLDT, Converge, etc.)
- Any transactions used to register or redeem from other ongoing BDO Credit Card promos
Note: Cash-in transactions for Grab are valid and included in the promo.
- Purchases must come from one (1) qualified card only. A Principal Card is treated separately from the Supplementary Card. In computing for the total qualified spend amount, transactions of the Principal Card cannot be combined with the transactions of the Supplementary Card. It is the responsibility of the Qualified Cardholder to monitor his/her qualified spend.
- For Cardholders enrolled in Dual Currency feature, transactions made in US Dollar and other currencies will be converted to Philippine Peso based on USD1 = P61. The amount will then be added to the total qualified Peso transactions to determine the total spend amount.
- The maximum rebate that can be earned per qualified BDO UnionPay Credit Card is P5,000 within the promo period.
- Transactions of Principal and Supplementary Cardholders are computed separately for earning of rebates which will be credited to the Principal Cardholder’s account on or before November 4, 2026 with transaction description “2026 UP MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL REBATE”
- For Qualified Cardholders enrolled in dual currency feature, the rebate earned will be posted in Philippine Peso regardless if the account is enrolled in the Dual Currency feature.
- Qualified Cardholders who earned the rebate will be notified via Viber/SMS within two (2) banking days from the rebate crediting date.
- The Cardholder’s account must be active, and without any past due obligation from the start of the promotion until the scheduled awarding of the rebate. Otherwise, the rebate earned shall be forfeited. For cards with dual currency, delinquency of one currency affects the other and will no longer be qualified for the promo.
- Rebates awarded are non-transferable and non-convertible to cash. However, it is treated as a credit or payment for purchases of any outstanding balance on the Card.
- Cardholder’s contact information must be updated to continue receiving card promotions/advisories. In case Cardholder did not receive the Promo ID via Viber/SMS or email, Cardholder may call the BDO Customer Contact Center at (+632) 8888-0000 to get his/her assigned Promo ID. BDO will not be responsible for non-receipt of Viber/SMS or email notification due to incorrect or outdated contact details.
- Double Redemption, Cancellation of qualified purchase and Fraudulent transaction/s.
- The Promo cannot be redeemed in conjunction with other promotional offers of BDO. A Cardholder’s purchase made within the promo period of another BDO Credit Card Promo such as but not limited to SM 3-Day Sale, Credit Card Activation Programs and other discount promos will be excluded in the computation of total qualified spend required to avail of this Promo or vice versa. If found to have double/multiple redemptions, BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the rebate awarded to the Principal or Supplementary Cardholder.
- Similarly, if qualifying transaction/s were disputed or cancelled at a later date, or if the transaction is found to be invalid/fraudulent, or a reversal of entry is made on any of the qualified transactions, BDO will reverse the rebate awarded. BDO has the sole discretion in qualifying the transactions of a Cardholder based on the mechanics of the Promo. Once qualified by BDO, the transaction can no longer be used for another BDO Promo even if the said transaction meets the criteria of the other promo.
- The use of BDO Credit Cards overseas and/or in foreign currencies may result to imposition of Cross Border Fees and/or Foreign Exchange Conversion Fees in the credit card transaction. For more details, Cardholders may refer to Section 8 of the Terms and Conditions Governing the Issuance and Use of BDO Credit Card found in BDO’s website.
- Cardholders must examine their Statement of Account (SOA) for any errors related to the Promo (e.g. rebate computation, non-awarding of rebate). For promo-related complaints, BDO will handle complaints within 7 to 10 banking days from receipt of complaint, provided with complete information, proof of purchase and other supporting documents.
- BDO reserves the right to reverse or adjust the rebate posted if there is erroneous posting of the rebate.
- All questions or disputes regarding the Cardholder’s eligibility for the Promotion or for any redemption shall be resolved by BDO upon concurrence with DTI.
- The Promo is subject to the General Terms and Conditions governing the issuance and use of BDO Credit Cards.
